Crocodile monitor lizards are pretty awesome beasties.  I had one for a while, and they're fantastic as far as monitors go, which is saying something.  They have ridiculously long tails which they presumably whip at threats.  Robust claws and long sharp teeth.  The yellow-green coloration is almost iridescent.  Beautiful animals ( Read more... )
